    Recipe for Gulab Jamun:

Sieve milk powder, semolina, flour and baking powder.

Make a well inside and pour hot ghee.Mix gently with a spatula.

Adjust milk and form into a tight dough consistency,Make sure not to kkned the flour hardly.Keep this aside for 20 min by covering with a kitchen towel.

Take a heavy bottomed pan and start boiling the sugar, water and cardomom together on high flame. After 5 minutes reduce the flame and boil for 10 more minutes to form a slighlty thick syrup.Take the syrup into a serving bowl and keep aside.

divide the dough into equal portions and roll into small balls.

Heat oil in a kadai and fry the balls until golden brown.Drop the balls into the sugar syrup and rest them for atleast 30 minutes.

Garnish with dry fruits and grated coconut.Enjoy with ice cream or as it is.

    Hi siri,

(feels like talking to my siri app in iphone ..hehe)

    so some doubts here:

    1) All purpose floor = maida in india ...right or not??

    2) white flour is what?? what do they tell in india...(in the samosa recipe)

    3) In rajasthani potato curry you have mentioned that we have to grind bayleaf along with the other spices.
Will bayleaf grind fully without any chunks ? I always add bayleaf as such and remove while eating .

Thanks for your mouth watering recipes...tempting me to try them righteaway..:)
