Re: Puja Format Dear Chitra, I joined the forum yesterday and I have been going the puja format for beginners. Thank you so much for the simple steps which are crystal clear to understand. My mother does pooja daily, I always wanted to follow her footsteps and get started. Being in the US away from all of them, I did not know the right way to get started. Your posts have given me lot of encouragement and motivation to start poojas and recite slokas daily. I am sure it will bring me a lot of peace of mind and bring positive energy to my house. You are doing a wonderful job. Hats off to you!

I am so impressed with your messages. I started learning slokas and pooja formats through magazines only and I was looking for somebody who can guide me in a proper way and clear all my doubts. I wanted to do MERU pooja in my house, I have bought and kept in my house and I was doing only abishekam on Thursday or Friday, is there any special rituals to be performed for MERU, please advise. Lakshmi poojai Chitra madam a million thanks for this wonderful thread. I have learned so many slokas from here. Chitra madam. I have heard that my friend does Lakshmi pooja on thursdays, using 108 bronze coins. It seems she uses a kuthu villaku and does the pooja. When I asked her she hesitated to tell anything. May I know how to perform this Lakshmi pooja and what slokas to use. Thanks. Yuvan.

Re: Puja Format Dear Chithra, I did the Ganesha pooja format this morning. It was very satisfying and your step by step instructions made it very easy for me to keep the necessary things orderly and do the pooja. Thanks ever so much! While going through the pooja format, I found several pooja formats inside that. Will it be possible to make sub titles just there and make an easy link connection? Am I asking for too much? If it is don't worry, it sure is worth going through each and every page of yours and copying and making a PDF file seperately. Regards, Priya
