It hurts as I type this. The very cutekid saanvi venna who was abducted from her home in Pennsylvania is no more now. The abductor had killed the baby, after killing her grandmother. Let God give strength to the family.

Saanvi Venna
, the 10-month-old baby of Indian origin has been found killed, according to reports in the US media.

Saanvi had gone missing from her home in Pennsylvania since Monday. Saanvi's grandmother
Satyavathamma
, 61, who was babysitting the child, was murdered by her abductor.

Reports in the US media quoted Montgomery county district attorney
Risa Vetri Ferman
as saying that officials have found the body of Saanvi.

Various Telugu associations and the US government had announced a reward of $50,000 for information on the missing girl.

Saanvi's parents, Siva Prasad Reddy and Chenchu Latha Punuru migrated to the US in February 2007.

A man of Indian origin —
Raghunandan Yandamuri
— has been arrested in connection with Saanvi's kidnapping and murder. Ferman said Raghunandan told authorities that he kidnapped the child for $50,000 ransom. She said that he "suffocated" the baby with a handkerchief as he was leaving the apartment after killing the baby's grandmother. He then put her body in a suitcase and later disposed it.

Saanvi's mother told reporters that Raghunandan was not related to them anyway. Ferman said he will be produced before a court shortly.

Cannot even imagine the state of the parents. Hope they somehow somewhere sometime find the strength to get through this.

This is so cruel...King of prussia is a safer area and when i heard the news of the murder of the grand mother and abduction was so shocked. now a family friend did this.how cruel. he has to be hanged to death !!!

Why such stupids exist in the world taking away the life of innocents and spoiling a happy nest. Heart breaking news.RIP Saanvi/grandma.
A family friend of them did this and he involved in baby saanvi's search handing out the fliers.He did this for money $50,000 and ended up in jail.You deserve more than thismr.
Being in different country, people believe their friends as family.So whom to believe in this world doing merciless things?

i just don't understand.. how can anyone kill such a beautiful kid? can the cruelty still exist after seeing her innocent face?? the killer has to be hanged with some heavy corporal punishments.

OMG!! I was searching for update on this child. Can't imagine why someone would want to hurt a 10 month old. Another incident of a nanny killing 2 kids in NY made me so frustrated with this world. RIP.

People are so arrogant, wouldnt they take just a second before they would do something like this. Poor baby how much she would have suffered in the hands of the deadly guy. God give strength to the family.
