    1) Himachal Pardesh
    PARWANOO
    Resort facilities like Cable car, Swimming Pool, Mini train etc, excursion to Kasauli & Chail.

    SIMLA
    To Kufri, Enjoy a horse ride in the apple orchards. Mall road for shopping or other individual activities.

    MANALI
    Visit the ancient Hadimba temple and Club houses. Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley.

    2) Uttranchal
    RANIKHET
    Breathtaking view of Mt. Nanda Devi. Golf course at Upat, the government fruit garden and the Research Station at Chaubatia.

    NAINITAL
    This charming hill station is set around 1.5 km long and 500 m wide Naini Lake. enjoy the boat ride on the Naini lake. Sat Tal (21 kms) which has seven lakes includes the jade green Garud Taal. One can also enjoy Mountain biking and rock climbing.

    MUSSOURIE
    Named after Himalayan shrub Mansoor this hill station is spread out over 16 kms, along a horse shoe shaped ridge overlooking the Doon valley to the South.

    3) KASHMIR
    SHRINAGAR
    Gulmarg - the meadow of flowers. Here, one has the option of taking a horse ride or a cable car till the snow point.
    Shankracharya hill for darshan and a bird’s eye view of Srinagar. Then visit the two Mughal gadens - Shalimar and Nishal Bagh. Take a Shikara ride to Char Chinar for a Kashmiri luch. check out Dal Lake.

    5) SIKKIM
    Gangtok
    Check out sights Rumtek Monastery, Botanical Garden, Chorten Stupa, Institute of Tibetology, Cottage Industry, Flower Show, Nam Nang View Point.

    Lachung

    6) DARJEELING
    Visit the Tiger Hill to witness the magnificent sunrise on the Mt. Kanchanzonga. On the way back visit the Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. check out Himalayan Mountaineering Insitute, Podwaja Naidu zoological Garden, Labong Rose Course, Ropeway, Happy valley tea estate, Tenzing Rock Lal Kuthi.

    My brother got recently got married and they went to Kulu manali, simla.

    According to bhai and bhabhi, it's fantastic place. Also, it would be a good idea to book a guided tour.
    That way you are free from all the daily logistic.

    someone i know recently visited kumarakoan (I think thats how its pronounced) in South India. they said its one of the best spots in the world.its a resort area worth the visit.

    even i can say Munnar is ver nice place.we have been there and you can have a night's stay in boathouse in back water's of Kerala. its wonderful experience.

    I have been to all north India hill stations, out of which, Mussourie, Dalhousie, Dharamshala are the best, shimla is too commercialised. Mussourie is also very much commercialised but it is the kinda place that attracts very good Gentry, i mean to say very good crowds and its quite a happening place, which has everything that a city has, like night life and still feels like a small cozy town, you can walk the whole place in 2-3 hours, i guess good enough for a short honeymoon.

    MAHABALESHWAR

    I would highly recommend Panchgani especially the Surya Retreat. Its gr8 for hoeymooning surrounded by mountains and waterfalls. Breathtaking beauty , serene , and excellent amenities .!!! Oh and yes but of course gr8 food too. But I guess thats the last thing you look out for in honey moons.

    Gangtok ( Sikkim ) is the best of all the places ( SImla Darjeeling, Kulu, Manali, Dharamshala etc....)I visited so far. March , April , May is the right time.
