Home Remedy for Acidity!

    Hi All,

    I usually suffer with acidity problem be it due to over eating or under eating...

    Now the situation is I have to take an antacid or take eno or sodas regularly just to relieve myself.

    This is really making my life very miserable....I can not travel or can move to crowded places since I feel suffocated...:spin
    I keep yawning all the time.

    Can anyone suggest any good home remedy to treat this problem.

    Chew Jeera ( Cumins seeds) little after eating.
    Before food, have a glass of drinkable hot water ( this will settle down the acidity / gas and help us to eat properly)
    chew elachi ( Cardamon) it helps.

    After breakfast , have green tea. This will smoothen the tummy and never allows acidity formation.
    Drink plenty of hot water after food.

    Hi,

    I usually make a powder of heeng, ajwain, jeera, kala namak and keep it with me....and take a pinch of it whenever you are feeling acidic.

    It really helps!
    Also, you can take trifala at night.

    I have also heard about Amla juice that aids in digestion but have never tried it.

    Home Remedies for Acidity

    1. Gently sucking a piece of jaggery until acidity subsides is a perfect home remedy for acidity.

    2. A glass of cold milk gives instant relief from this problem.

    3. Chewing of few basil leaves keeps acidity, gas and nausea at bay.

    4. Eating plenty of cucumber, water melon and banana keeps away acidity.

    5. Drinking coconut water relieves acidity.

    6. Every meal should be followed by a drink of fresh mint juice. This is the best acidity remedy.

    7. Consumption of yoghurt gives instant relief from this problem.

    8. Soda water effectively treats acidity problems.

    9. Chewing ginger helps to subside acidity.

    10. One may take a mixture of 1 tablespoon honey and 2 tablespoon natural apple cider vinegar before meals to avoid this problem.

    Eat vanilla icecream after food...my dr suggest me this...and I am 100% setisfied with this...
