Hi C Amma, Today for breakfast I tried Atta dosa, came very crispy, thing learnt is the batter should be thinner then our usual dosai batter. Had it with sweet vathakuzhambu. Damini, The hyper link is very usefull thanks for adding it with comments.
Dear Chithumma, Vinayagar chaturthi went on very well. Made sweet kozhakatai, savory one, aama vadai(family custom),Moong+channa dhal payasam, appam, kosambari, sundal. All of them turned out so well. FIL was here to have lunch with us and he liked everything.Pooja also went on very well. Thanks a ton for the confidence.
Dear mami, I think you missed this post. Made Alu methi dry sabji yesterday for dinner . Sauting the raw cubed potatoes instead of boiled ones, gave the perfect texture to the dish. Thanks
Dear Chithra, broadband is still not available, we recharged Aravindh's datacard and am using that now. I am not able to see the recipes on Apps due to that. 3G does not get activated too, some problem with the exchange. I made aappam yesterday for breakfast along with kadala curry, wow, this time also the aappam was superb- lacy on the edge and soft and spongy in the center. 123 batter is very much apt for this. Thank you so much, this recipe is without coconut, oil and such an easy one to make first class aappams.
Dear Chitra Mami, I love your recipes and try them often. Can you help me with How to make dry maggi noodles? My DH says his patti used to make it for him in chennai and he craves it now! Unfortunately she is no longer with us so I am fervently looking fr the secret dry maggi recipe. Pls help if you can Thanks!!!!
Sorry, Radhi :-( Yes, both the butters give that texture. Forphulkaside dish, sauting raw diced potatoes gives a great taste too! Thanks.

Dear Chithramma, In continuation to my 'pulambals' about Milk Toffee, It was veryhard & very sticky. I just put in a box & went home. Today when I came back , I was hungry & thought let me 'try to eat this'. It was like a crisp & crunchy biscuit & melts in the mouth & absolutely delicious. DH was wondering how did this happen. I'm very happy that it has become edible & both of us are munching it away.:thumbsup> It is in all shapes few pieces, few pedas & a major potion as the slab. The Gathiyas were well received:bowdown Love, Damini.
