    HI Ladies

I have PCOS, and i am taking treatment...

I am ttc from 6months, since i had irregular periods, i dint want
to wait more time, i consulted an Infertility clinic in J.P Nagar..

Doc did a scan and confirmed i have PCOS and i am undergoing
    below treatment..

    1. Did through check up of both me n my DH.
(This include blood test, Std, Thyroid test, Semen analysis...)

    2. Suggested to take Metformin(500mg * 3) and Duphaston (day 16-26th)
for 2 months. And mean while reduce weight and come back after 2months.

    3. Met her after 2 months(could reduce only 2kgs:bonk....

    4. However she told there is slight improvements and have pcos
    now only in right ovary....

    5. Suggested clomid day 3 to day 7. Asked to come back on 11th for
scanning, follicles wasnt growing much, so instead of wasting cycle
she suggested to take FSH Shot injections(helps to grow follicles).
Had to take FSH shots 6 days. Day 17th took HCG to trigger ovulation.
(Follicles had reached 20mm)...Asked timed intercourse 36hrs after
    hcg shot..

    6. During 2ww was taking Endogest 200, Folic acid, metformin, Duphaston,
After 15days checked , and found Negative.. Still had hopes as i dint
get periods, later learnt endogest(progesterone) is delaying periods,
stopped endogest on day 15, and got periods today...:bonk

Now i am planning to give a break of one cycle, reduce weight,
(working out on treadmill, dh brought me treadmill, hoping i wll
reduce, so sweet of him:)) then meet doc after 1 cycle(As m 29rs
i dont want to give too much break also, as i need kid sooon)....

IS there anyone out here, with same situation, If yes, what treatments
are you taking ?? Got any success ?????

Please reply, it would be great to know what others with pcos
    are going through.....

    Hi,
I too had PCOS and the only way to manage it is by regular exercising, reducing weight and eating healthy food. Avoid as much junk food you can. I did join gym to reduce weight and took medications to remove cysts. Once my PCOS medication stopped i was regularly doing aerobics and yoga at home and was following a healthy diet. For my wonder exactly after 3 months I got conceived without any medications for getting pregnant and my scan showed i had no cysts.

    Regards,
    Gayatri

Even I've the same problem.... I took all the medicines you mentioned.... But I found out that losing weight is the only way to conceive... And I'm on my way to shed it..... And by the way I'm ttc from 2 years.... And I'm 26.... All the very best....:)

I have pCOS and took metformin, fortunately did not have cysts in ovaries
I made drastic change in diet, eat healthy balanced diet food, abs no junk food and lots of exercise - joined a gym and personal trainer and lost around 15 kgs

After 2 yrs ttc, I am now expecting baby due in dec.

Most of all, maintain positive thoughts
hang in there and wish you luck!
