Hey, I would like to know as to what really is herbal tea....is it the same as green tea? I am a tea addict...I was thinking of shifting to herbal tea as I have heard a lot about it... Plus are these teas really beneficial? Can anyone help in this regard? Thanks a lot!
green tea is different yet can be called herbal and herbal teas are different herbal teas are infusion of herbs..tulsi, thyme, chamomile, ginger and lemon, nettle - beneficial if you have urinary infection, kidney problems.. chamomile - helps to sooth you..and also helps in indigestion peppermint - for colds and cough ginger - digestion and relieves bloat lavender - wheezing and insomnia. rosemary - if you have liver problems hibisucus - for reducing blood pressure, cholesterol rosehip- for immunity thyme - for digestion and other stomach disorders and helps in immunity lemon grass- for digestive problems... there are many other infusions too lipton has some of these herbal teas.. apart from this you get fruit teas= apple, peach, pomegranate and other variants..
fruit teas taste great. thyme, lavender, chamomile are strong and you need to get used to..rosehip is sour i drink most of these teas.. and they really help..
Hey, That is a lot of good information. I and my husband are too addicted to tea....Though I have been facing a lot of problem related to acidity and indigestion but somehow if I do not have tea...seems my head starts paining...... Let me try these teas...hoping they will taste good and will help me control my addiction. I wonder if I'll be able to get them from a local grocery guy....can you please let me know from where you buy these different herbal and fruit teas...? Thanks a lot!
some of the teas are available in the supermarkets, others i get it from abroad..and most of the combos are available in the lipton brand..
