Round White patches on the scalp with no hair

    Hi friends,

    White patches are appearing in my husband's scalp.First the hair falls in that area in round and then the scalp becomes white.What is the reason.Any home remedy for thsi?When he went to salon to cut hair,the barber told that it is 'Puzhuvettu'(don't know in English).

    Please help.Please suggest any remedies for this.

    Immediately go and and consult a good dermatologist before he loses more hair. It is a type of infection and can be treated.

    with the sweat, and the helmet, many are prone to get this fungal infection and it is easily treated but get it diagonised by a dermatologist..
