Vaccine list in India

    hi everyone,
    i have an 1 year old kid.
    my pediatrician said that vaccines list has changed.
    please anyone can help me in this one.
    urgently required since as per the old list i want to put vaccine in the next month.

    Hi dhivya,
    I have a 9 months old baby boy.

    Iam giving you the list as per my pidiatrician.

    9 month--Measles
    15--18 months---DTPw B1/DTPa B1, OPV4, Hib B1, MMR
    >15 months--Varicella vaccine
    >18months--Hepatitis A vaccine
    2 years--Typhoid
    5 years--DTPw B2/DTPa B2, OPV5
    10years--Td/TT
    16 years--Td/TT

    I would like to know the list of vaccinations for a new born baby which are given in India (for the first 0-12 months).

    are painless vaccine of any use..some say it only prevents fever but not the pain..pls suggest

    @shobana I guess each baby reacts differently to it. My friend gave painless vaccinations for her baby. There was no pain, no swelling, no fever after the vaccine shots. But for another friend's baby, there was no pain, no fever but there was slight swelling.

    For my DS, Slight pain and slight swelling but no fever. its different each time and depends how the vaccine was given.
    Sometimes no swelling, but he never had fever due to them touch wood.
