I was wrapped in tummy belt after my c-sec at the hospital ...which I continued till 4mnts , it was so much support for my back n also kinda of protection fr my tummy...I swear by the belt it was amazing..n yes I had not tummy once I was off it, Im nt sure it was the belt or breast feed I was happy that I dnt I have a hanging pouch.

Since I'm trying for my second one now...I called my nurse n got the brand name so that I can use it fr my next lol

Mine was a normal delivery and I could have easily worn a wrap, but no! For some reason I din't believe in wraps then. So I took it all very light, and now am roaming around with a paunch, being asked by every other person if I am expecting my second, when my first is not even a year old. :rant I regret not having worn it when I should have.:bang I really hope it is not too late and that I get back to shape with some exercising.:x
To answer your question, I think belts and exercise do help, for I have seen mamas who swear by them. Good luck!

    Hi kvds,
My doctor advised me a tip and few exercises......

    1. Sleeping on our tummy.
    2. Air cycling.
    3. Lifting one leg while lying on back.
    4. Lifting two legs while lying on back.

Sleeping on tummy could be done as soon as first week.
The rest after two-three weeks of C-section.
These exercises, along with belt work well.
