Stay at home moms routines

    nowadays with my toddler i am not making any breakfast..it's very tiring for me. whole day i run around her and morning i have to cook lunch and dinner/wash vessels...clean house if i can...ahhh i am drained of all my energy end of the day. I wonder how people manage twins. It's extremely tiring for me.

    Dear luv2smile.. Never skip breakfast.

    * Prepare simple breakfast like cornflakes or oats. Grab a fruit. You both can have fruit time..

    * Make simple and healthy meals, dal/sambhar and curry . Make her watch CDs while you cook.

    * Prepare idly batter once a week and it will help you a lot.

    * Clean up the house when ur LO is sleeping.

    * You can ask her to fold the small clothes or her clothes , when you are folding.

    * You can feel the difference in your energy level once you started eating properly.


    I have been through this phase and i can tell you, it will pass soon.. :)

    I believe many of us were employed in India before relocating to US. Leaving our family & jobs behind, for the sake of marriage,kids and the domestic chores(...?) is too much for us and creates "inertia" in our mind and body I think.May be we all suffer from a kind of depression,who knows?

    The tiredness is because of state of mind not of body.What do you think?
