I am Ramya (Madurai/Chennai) and living in Munich since 2 years. I stumbled upon this site when looking for infos on paintings, etc., It would be nice to get to know others living in Munich to spend time and discuss.

I'm Yali; moved last week to Nuremberg after living 7 years in Canada. I'm not Indian but Srilankan but grow up in good old chennai. I am shelly. i shall be shifting to Munich later this year with my hubby..right now i am in gurgaon.i am expecting a baby in the month of june. after my delivery and recovery i shall shift there.just wanted to ask how important is it to know german language...

this is Pallavi, I am here since last 3 years. Well, ofcourse language here is very important.You will really feel like an alien if you doesnt know anything. So try to learn basics atleast. Good luck for your delivery..!!

We are yet to reach there, by May 15th or so, how is life in Munich? I heard it is very cosmopolitan? Everyone speaks English there? Which part of India are u from?
