Moving to Edison...

Hi Ladies,
We're planning to move to Edison.. I've already enquired about Edison village & got worst feedback.. So, apart from this are there any good aprt near to metropark station? We're looking for an apart near by station(walkable)..

Any idea about Oxford arms?

Piscataway apartments are good? Anything there named skypoint? Any review?

Its very urgent..

Please throw your thoughts..

Hi Anitha,

We just moved from DE to Edison 2 months before. I live in Oxford arms now. It's 15-20 min walk to Edison train station.the apt do have shuttle in mornings and evenings.

The apartments near metropark are old.most of them do not have dishwasher and washer ,dryer.if it is ok with you, my cousin is living in Bristol apartments in iselin. ( 10 min walk to train station ) . But includes the heat and water.

In Edison dharam woods and Oxford arms are ok. U can check private condominiums in craigslist. The commons at Piscataway is good

How much is the rent for single & 2 bed in oxford arms?
do they have washer & dryer inside apartment?

Do they have 2 bath for 2 bed apartment?

for 2 bed 2 bath i am paying 1560$.(ground floor with carpet,storage room in patio).Second and third floors have wood floors.yes washer and dryer are inside the apt.

How far is the gym?

We were in Highlands at south plainfield, descent community with all amenities(gym, swimming) and indian groccery, halal shop and indian restaurant.
1 bed room we paid 1360/-
Apartment will be very spacious, near 287, edison station in 10 mins

Apartments in Woodbridge have shuttle services to Metropark. Check lines 802 and 803. You may consider Woodbridge Commons (condos, there are many listings in craigslist), Gill Lane apts (both these apts have shuttles 802 and 803) Woodbridge Terrace (W/D not in unit), Woodbrdige Center Plaza (both with shuttle 803, and with access to Woodbridge station too via 803 - NJ Transit Line NJCL), and Green Hollow apts (Shuttle 802). There are few more condos in the area. If you take a drive thru Gill Lane and Woodbridge Center Drive, you'll get an idea. Its a good area.
