To gain weight keep track of your calorie intake. This includes during meal times and when snacking and your daily activity level. You can then calculate how much energy you take in per day versus how much you expend to know by how much to increase your calorie intake for moreweight gain.

My 2 year old daughter is underweight. She is a fussy eater. She hates milk. Is there anything else i can give her to increase her weight?

Give her nuts, an apple everyday. The nut inside the seed of ashgourd and pumpkin are said to be good to increase weight. Ragi is also good. The big kerala banana (nendram pazhan) is also very good to increase weight.

Put her on soups of partially boiled vegetables in between the meals. Tempt her to have fruits by mixing in a spoon or two of fresh cream.

Til (sesame) seeds are also good to increase weight.

daily two banana and drink milk with mixture of honey daily in a night. Eat brown rice meal will definitely increase your weight.

Hi, Is there anyone here who had put on weight after eating Ghee. I am underweight and tried so many things but no luck. Now i have started adding ghee to my food say about 2-3tbls per day. Is it good to add this amt of ghee daily.

tbsp measure is too much and not good for health. Ghee will only add fat and is not healthy way of putting weight as you have to watch the cholestrol . So always be careful when you eat fat food because a person with high cholestrol need not be fat. It is something which gets deposited in your blood vessels.

having 1/2 tsp melted ghee is ok. But never have ghee for your dinner.

 Generally Honey rich in carbohydrates which provides strength and energy to body.
Mix the honey in water and intake it surely will reduce the weight. At the same time mix the honey in warm milk and had it in night. It will help to gain weight.
