Hi Ladies, I visited India for 3weeks in March. Hot weather started over there in India & I was in Chennai for few days.. My skin got totally tanned.. Me & my son got little dark there.. am trying to wash face twice or thrice & trying to get rid of this tanning issue. My skin is too sensitive.. Please let me know what else can be done?
Try lemon and honey. I am not sure whether u can do this for ur kid. But kids get rid of tan easily as the skin regeneration is fast for them.
:O i didnt know frequently washing face reduces tan... tanning is a natural process that occurs to the body when exposed to the sun...home remedies can be applied for sure.. but there is nothing called instant tan removing techniques. Any such thing related to skin reduces over the time... because it is "SKIN".. not any metal... Apart from that... potato juice, cucumber juice can be applied to face/limbs as a temporary solution.. this mainly refreshes the skin.. try it out and let us know....i prefer potato.. it is reasonably cheaper
Is that ur son in the display pic??? He has really grown fast.. Try aveeno Positively radient face wash n cream it was really very effective ...
I usually prepare potato juice by grating half of the potato and squeeze the grated.Apply that juice with the help of a slice of the potato(instead of cotton) all over the face and neck. Potato is a natural bleach,it do wonders!!!
Use a sunscreen when you go out. Make sure you read the label because some sunscreen dont prevent taning. Choose one that say sunscreen for sensitive skin or physical sunscreen. Look at the active ingredients. Look for either zinc oxide of titanium dioxide. These are the only two things that prevent tanning.
Dolly - Yes, he is my son. Thanks for the tip Berry & Coolsandy.. sure, i will try & will let you know ladies.
Sun screens don't stop tanning completely, But if you use very high SPF, they can reduce tanning a little
