hi frnds, my son is very interested in learning facts about the SPACE - sun, planets, stars, etc. i dont know where to start and how to teach. is there any websites that gives an easy video format that makes him interesting, i dont want just information, but with animations and videos, plz help frnds
Priya, this seems to be a good site for kids Astronomy For Kids - KidsAstronomy.com Also making some real time solar system projects will help him understand. You get many kits in the market which allow you to paint and then fix. Also i remember taking copies of all planets, cutting them out and then placing them around the sun on a card board paper and the decorating the rest of the paper with other space objects. My son was 4 then and we had a blast and it took us almost a couple of hours work on two days. There are also some websites which tell what's in the night sky and that can spark a child's imagination. Hope this helps for starters.
