    Hai,

Iam moving to chennai next month and my husband is going to cook for himself. So i planned to buy an induction stove for him. Please tell which vessel he should use to cook only Non-stick or ordinary vessels. For keeping rice can we use cooker or vessel with lid? Thanks in advance

    Regards
    Sharu

    dear sharu
you can use any flat bottomed silver vessel. U want to use induction based cooker and non stick vessels only. Induction based Cooker will have a special plate under it.

    Hai,

Thank u Saro and Prudent. I have another doubt about rice cooker. In some rice cooker models two parts are there, botom we can keep rice and top we can boil vegetables. In that top part can we keep dhals in a silver vessel like pressure cooker? Thanks

    Regards
    sharu

    Hi Sharu

the top part is for steaming veggies....
in case you want, you can keep dhal in silver vessel...but betterr to pre soak your dal well

p.S in reallllly bad days, like no cylinder etc, I have used electric rice cooker to boil milk, make tea, make dry vegetable etc
