Take it to the repairs shop. They will do it for.

 

If the pressure is forming and you are not getting the whistles, the vent might be blocked. You can take a long metal wire and clean the vent. Once you clean it, just load the empty cooker and see if you are getting the whistles properly.

Sometimes when we load too much food into the cooker, the vent tends to get clogged. So dont load more than 3/4th of the cooker capacity.

 

clean/clear the block in the vent and whistle.

 

put vent only after powerful steam comes out from the cooker.

 

Make a habit after every use keep ur gasket in the fridge

 

you will face this problem if vent gets blocked or if whistle has some problem. please check both

try to change the weight. when the pressure comes, then only put the weight. dont load the cooker to the maximum level. when you keep the vessel, gap should be there between cooker and the inner vessel.

You need to replace the 'safety valve' immediately. Thats the one creating problem for you and nothing else........ Pls. do it or with the pressure mounting inside, cooker will dry out the water below and may lead to bursting out......., waste of energy and cooking will not happen also.
