    Hi everyone!

    I live in Burlington, which is a beautiful city on the shores of Lake Ontario. I was born in Durban, South Africa and moved to Canada about 11 years ago.

    I lived in Newfoundland for 3 years, 1 year in Mississauga and the balance of the years in Burlington.

    I have 2 children - my son who is 18 and a daughter who is 16.

    I am a lawyer by profession, and practiced law in South Africa and I had my own practice then.

    Now I am the managing director of a medical practice.

    I love Canada and wishing all Canadians - Happy Canada Day!

    Hi Sonu

    I hope you dont mind me contacting you.

    I am from the UK, we have 2 children aged 5 nd 3 months and are considering moving to Burlington/Oakville thru my husbands work.

    We have extended family in Brampton but if we were to relocate it would have to one of the above as these are closer to the office/company my hubby works for.

    Its a big move and my biggest concern is my 5 year old son, could you possibly tell me about the schools and accomodation in the area.

    Also are there a lot of punjabis in the area as well as a sikh temple - as roots and values are also important to us.
