Weight Loss team - To shed weight permanently

    Hi mythreyee,

    Though i don't live in the areas you listed, still we can join and make a commitment to loose weight together.I had a big vacation and packed more pounds and i am also overweight/obese. I am planning to start my diet/ex routine from 10th of this month.I should seriously loose 40 pounds and i think we can do it together.

    Good going...

    I have a dietitian appointment end of this month. I have one hour counseling with her. I think this will change my lifestyle and be a turning point in my life.

    On top of it...
    I follow negative calories food.
    And the strict rule is
    Heavy breakfast,
    medium lunch and very light dinner.

    I am quite sure, you will reduce but it will take a while. just continue what you are doing. Its very hard to follow a routine and you are doing it so well. I am proud of you. I just need a routine to follow and that's why I am visiting a doc. Is this diet scheduled by a dietitian for you? are you following doc's advise?

    Let's start this month. I have to lose that much weight too. I am planning to join 24 hr fitness and exercise regularly. I have to cut down on calories. 'No junk food' is my resolution until I lose weight. To be consistent I think we need each other's support. Let's do it!

    Hi,
    I am not that over weight.
    I weigh around 130-132 lbs (whenever there is swelling).
    I just need to loose some 10 lbs.
    I check with Indian dietician @ Bangalore.
    That lady said, there is no need for me to loose any weight instead I should tone my body by doing some stretching exercise.
    She said whatever I am doing is good but need to eat heavy breakfast.
    I eat ragi ball whenever I am @home only during afternoon. (as it is too much calories for night food)

    Hi All,
    I am sreelata.
    Even i want to join the weight loss team to lose my weight permanently.
    I am trying hard, Please motivate me :)

    My Current Weight : 149 lbs
    my height : 5' 3" or 5' 4" (not sure)
    my target weight : 130 lbs

    my usual diet(except on weekends ):

    breakfast : 1 cup of oats with milk and dates.
    lunch: either 2 or 3 chappathi or rice with sambhar(mostly chappathi)
    dinner : chappathi or upma and a cup of horlicks.

    in addition to it: atleast 1 fruit daily, at the most 2 fruits a day.

    i have reduced my intake quantity.
    trying to go to gym atleast 3 days a week

    but my main problem is i don't take my breakfast and lunch on proper timings.
    (i.e, i have oats breakfast at 10.30 or 11, and lunch at 2 or 3 p.m)

    please give me your suggestions.

    Hey, i am latha.

    My height is 5'0. My weight is 140 pounds. my goal is too reach 100 pounds. I no its a lot . But i have to. I really need ur motivation. From tomorrow i am going to have this diet:

    1) Sprouts for breakfast
    2) 3 pulkas for lunch with lot of curry
    3) fruit as snack
    4) pulkas as early dinner

    Please friends, give me ur suggestions. I really need to lose weight.

    Wish you all a very happy new year.

    I was out of town and couldn't access IndusLadies at all. I missed IL very much.

    Glad to see many new members in our Weight Loss team. :cheers welcome to all. How is it going with all of you. I was on vacation and I couldn't continue my exercise and diet programme. But still not very bad, I looked tonned up now. But willing to join with our new members and kick start again:queen

    Hi latha,

    Don't worry dear. you are not alone. We are all on the same path. your planned diet is looking good. Try to continue it without any interruption and add some aerobic exercise to it.
