Home remedies for dark underarms

Just try this....

Mix One spoon of lemon juice with one spoon of olive oil and 3 pinch of turmeric, apply regularly on ur underarms ...it should vanish in 10-20 days or try for some medicine.

it might be bcuz of fungus try appling tumeric
else mix tumeric and koraikillangu and poolang killangu u get them in ayurvedic medicals
grind the two killangu and mix with tumeric n apply

Hi sumona2.. i too have tried all kinds of home remedies for it with no results 'coz the real reason behind dark underarms are the hair follicles & repeated shaving.. You can try all thse which other ladies have said, but if you need a real solution you should go for waxing your underarms. (You can try with an epilator but if your under hair is thicker like main that would leave you in terrible pain. Though i have a braun epilatior i have no guts to use it in my under arms.) True, it hurts like hell.. remember 'beauty is pain'

 

Dear sumona2, I do not know of any home remedies but I recently tried the new deodorant from FA, it did help whiten underarm within a fortnight. Hope this helps.

Could you plz give the full name of the deodorant (from FA)

 

It is better to go for home remedies for whitening underarms. Different deodrants will contain chemicals for whitening/bleaching the skin. The underarm skin is quite sensitive and these chemicals can very well enter your body and cause harm in the long term.

Try the turmeric_lime_oil mixture. you can also add some curd to this - curd is a natural bleach.
Waxing will also help.
