Shifting to Shanghai...Need to know about China..

hi Shanti,

You have lot of time to learn chinese if u join some good institute 6months is enough for basic speaking not reading and writing. Try some websites online. In Blore there are many pvt institutes who teah foreign language. When you will arrive in Shanghai you need a lot of time to explore your place. You wont feel muh bore as you will be busy with your daughter then looking after the house hold. All thisis going to take a lot of time. Your comp is sending you here then they might be having indian employees so you can get in touch with them.

Hi Padma,
Thanks for the information. There was a institute which was teaching chinese but it seems they closed down let me try something else. Where r u situated now in the earlier thread u said u will be shifting to Shangai have u shifted. How is ur son. Keep in touch i will come to know exactly whn we r coming by the end of this month. i will let u know.

hi Shanti,

My husband's project will finish here by May2012. So no chance till then. My son developed some allergy here so, always sneezing runny nose, i am getting mad everyday for his health. Shanghai not much problem as in other cities. You try learning online basic you can learn that will be enough for everyday use. I will ask my friend and inform you exactly when new session starts.

we want to leave china actually.. if we get really good chance we will move or try for some good city like shanghai, guangzhou or shenzen...its all luck...caant say... this month end we r coming to bangalore for 15days...lets see..

Language is a problem....but u need to learn it...basic communication words...and then you will have smooth life.
