Hi, I am in Perth for the last one month. It is a nice big city, there are a couple of Indian shops so grocery is not a problem. Buses inside Perth city are free. I do not know about schools. Hope there are others from IL in Perth!!! It would be nice to meet. Regards

Hmm... thanks for the info? though its only a month that u are there- can u tell if its true that : 1. for non-mining people - do not progress well there , and not many prospects/growth as compared to syd /melb 2. how is the move from perth to melb/syd possibl later - say after a year or so? 3. is it true: because minign people get very good salaries, the city is as expensive as sydney or even more.
Hi, Sorry I can't answer any of your queries!! I will find out from DH and let you know. Perth is very expensive, even more than Sydney I think. I know that it is more expensive than London. A loaf of bread here is $4.5......fruits, clothes are all expensive. Are you coming to Perth or Canberra? Is it short or long term? I will try and send you a private msg. Regards
