    Friends, eager to see the bell shaped flowers? here they are. this plant os only 3 months old and started to yield flowers, we were waiting, slowly day by day these buds have been opened and the peach color flowes and for us immense happiness, you too enjoy and tell me how they are?

    Nice clicks of the wild flower.
    The name of the flower is Datura also known as angel's trumpet, devil's trumpet, and Datura metel.
    Different colours of the flowers are there to enjoy.

    dear saroj, this is not Datura plant eventhough it looks alike that. this plant drew our attention in a local nursery and garderner said this is a imported plant the name he too doesnt know, Iam eager to know the name, for the time being Ihave named bell flower plant..

    Hi Igirish and sharadau,

    The plant name is Brugmansia -

    Here is the details of the plant -
    Brugmansia are in the Solanaceae family, all parts are toxic.
    Also known as Angel's Trumpets they are native to subtropical regions. They have large, very dramatic, pendulous trumpet-shaped blooms that are only fragrant at night. Brugmansia are easily grown in a moist, fertile (heavy feeder), well-drained soil, in full sun to part shade, in frost-free climates.

    I saw this plant in front of Santosh Hegde (former lokayukata) and in Lalbagh i got so fascinated, i broke one of the branch from one of the plant in sadhasiv nagar.. I have asked my gardner to take care of it.. hopefully it will survive once i come back.

    ya ofcourse datura metal will be in white colur but this looks attractive in light pinkish colur...
