Dear C, Had paruppu rasam and cluster beans paruppusilli for dinner. Finished them off in no time. Rasam had enhanced flavor with one whistle method. And now, I too have stocked paruppusilli in the fridge. I may just have them like a snack. They are so tasty. Thank you!
Dear Maami, Hope you remember me.. I am here after a very LONG break. Have been busy with my newborn girl. We have named her Athmika. She will be 3 months old next week!! Didnt do much cooking since Amma has been handling it and it is mostly pathiya saapadu . I have been doing mostly repeat dishes like BBB, mushroom pulao, lapsi upma etc., I did make Caramel halwa for Athmika's first month birthday and we loved it. Might try some new sweets for diwali. Searching your galore for simple sweets now.. Will be back with FB next week! Thanks, Aswini
Oh lijo,I mean, closing down our system!! Now a days I make oothappams only in those pAans - workis so esy!! I use it for all shalow frying like tikkis & kababs too!!
You should prepare it in a very shallow bowl, just about 1" high to spread out one layer Even then crispness will be partly lost because of soaking. So, taste only counts & I am glad you liked it!!
Thanks, Hridhaya!Q! I agree with both your points. I likeONLY one whistle rasam swhere the flavour is preserved. Yes, PU is like a dry snack!! :biggrin2:
