    Dear Friends,

I am looking forward to help on this topic from experienced mothers here.

My 5 year old has started browsing net- for solving assignments. I open the site and also monitor her.
Recently she learnt about games to be played on the net and is fascinated by it.I have adjusted the settings and have blocked many sites for safety reasons.

I wish to know how you monitor your children and also at the same time protect them from sites unsuitable for child's eye.

Any relibale software to block sites/Any suggestions are welcome so that i can also make laptop a safe place for my kids.

    Hope some suggestions are shared.

    Love,
    Parvathi.

    Hi parvathi

IF you are having vista or win7 you can set up seperate account for you kid and allow only certain sites .Also you can limit the access to certain time of the day or week

Then you can set up it to send weekly parental report .thats how I monitor .Also there is free utility from Norton that you can use as well
