Hi, not sure how much time you got on hand.
If you have at-least a week's time. Collect some mud in a plastic square basin (Choose the size and shape in a way that's easy to carry to school). Grow Ragi in it and then you could add some more plants here and there when the ragi has grown, add in Plastic animals and its done!
This is the simplest version. Of-course Dioramas would be more attractive....depends on the kind of time you got.
