    Hi all,

I recently learnt tanjore painting in India. Now i want to practice the painting on my own and i have all the materials except the fevicol . Since we don't get fevicol in US, i want an alternate for that. It is needed to stick the cloth to the board.

I searched in home depot, but i found only the stick ones ( i want the gum in a bottle so that it will be easy to apply). does anybody know any brand in particular ?

And also where can i find sand paper? Will that be in Home depot? Thanks all in advance.

Aishwarya, fevicol is used for bonding right? There are a couple of things - Elmer's glue (regular) is one and another one you get is wood glue (Elmer's carpenters/wood glue) - I feel this wood glue has thicker consistency like fevicol. You should be able to get them all at Michaels. Sand paper yes, home depot or check out in michales while you are there! Google, images for wood glue and you will know what to look for! Hope this helps!
