Dear Mami, I made the Canten Biscuits today. Its so yummmm and crunchy. Attaching a pic of it.(The unbaked dough itself was so tasty :tongue.) Mami, can we refrigerate the dough to bake it some other day? How long will it stay? Two days back made Kanchipuram Idli. It was spongy and nice. We had it with coconut chutney. Quite filling!! Bye
Dear Saras, your photo in close up looks amazingly yummy!! Don't finish off uncooked dough! You can freeze the dough, may be for 2 weeks?? Thanks.
Ma, My kid brother is staying away from home due to his work... He prepares his own dishes. I have shared few recipes with him. He wants some side dish recipes for Dosa.. He can get batter from the shops. The problem is he dont have a mixie. So I am collecting chutney recipes that dont require a mixer.. All I can think of is, Sambar and Tomato bajji (chopped onion and tomatos cooked together.. ). Also I dont think he can cook complex things like kara kozhambu.. chenna etc. Do you have any super-simple chutney/side dish recipes??? Kindly coud you provide the links.. Thanks ILT
Hi ILT, There are some side-dishes/chutneys given by mami that you are looking for . Bombay Chutney, the chutney given in Coorg idli & Easy tomato chutney link, the kuzumbu as in Kal dosai & Thakkali kuzambu .. You could go through the the links Chutneys & Thogayals & Side-dishes for Tiffins..There are a few that are easy and requires no mixie . All the best to your thambi :-D..bye
