    Dear Mrs.Chitra,
Made Nawabhi dhal for dinner. Loved the flavor and taste. I used panch phoren for tempering and it was delicious. Nice combination of all the dhals. Kids loved it a lot too. Thanks for the recipe.
    Regards,
    Deepa

    Dear Maami,

How have you been? I have missed coming to this forum. I have been diagnosed with Gestational diabetes :-( and am on a very strict diet. I didnt login to this forum just to avoid temptations. 6 more weeks to go and hoping that everything goes well. Need your blessings.

Will be back soon. Take care till then,
    Aswini

    Hello Chitra Mam,

I recently went to donate blood but they checked my iron level and found that I am anemic with very low iron (nothing alarming). I am actually anemic since childhood. But, I really want to donate blood, other than that I have no problem with stamina, tiredness or anything.
Can you please suggest some recipes rich in iron - breakfast, smoothie, lunch, dinner, shakes, anything, please?

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks, Deepa. Panch phoren is used extensively by Bengalis. But we must use it very subtly!
    Thanks for the FB.
