Free HITECH programs for IT professional in US

Have you started doing the course. You don't have to prepare anything ahead. There are about 8-9 subjects in each course. Right now I'm doing "Implementation Support Specialist" course, it has got 8 subjects, some of them are
1. Health MIS
2. Networking & Health IT Exchange
3. Terminiology in health care and public health
4. Install and Maintain health IT systems...etc.

They provide all the lectures and presentations and you have to do assignments, quiz and exams online.

Hi Indusladies,

Here is the link for the HITECH program - healthit.hhs.gov. When go to this website, look for the HITECH programs on the left and then select the option "Community College Consortia to Educate Health IT Professionals" under HITECH programs and finally select your region in the US map. Once you get into the region a,b,c or d, you will see the details about the "member colleges or community colleges", just click that and you will see the list of community colleges offering this course.
I am sure they are offering this course for people who has work permit like H1,green card and citizens but I am not sure whether they are offering this course for H4 candidates, so you please contact your community colleges for further details.
