    HI,
I have a BSc in Biotechnology which was a 3 year degree and an MSc in Bioinformatics, which was a 2 year degree. Is my qualification considered a masters degree in USA? Or do I need to do anymore courses to get a job?

The US system requires 4 years or so of undergraduate study, and anything beyond that is graduate school (masters') usually thought the number of credit hours influences this. You might want to consider getting your credentials evaluated via agencies in your field to figure out the US equivalence.

    Hi Ranjoose,

I am in the same situation as you are. I have a BSc in Chemistry and MSc in Environmental Science, both from India. Did you get the evaluation report from the agency? What was the result? And which agency did you send your transcripts to? It'll be of great help if you could share your experience. Thanks!
    Ramya
