    Hi Pinkorchid,
    I also sailing in same boat dear....my current weight is 79kgs....just one year back i shifted to sharjah....i put on 4 kgs here in one year...i m also trying to loose weight....i have elliptical machine at home....but it is getting very difficult to reduce weight for me....let us make the competion and share our diet and exercise we do daily.....

    Hi pinkorchid,

    Ya....i m maharashtrian.......

    my diet i usually try to follow is...
    7.00 hot water with lemon and honey
    8.00 am tea+little amount bf whatever cooked for husband
    9.00 oats with curd
    11.00 buttermilk
    1.00 2 chapati and sabji or a egg omlet
    4.00 tea with 2 marie bis
    8.30 dinner 2 chapati and sabji or 1 jowar bhakri and sabji

    I m doing elliptical trainer for 20 mins not more than that.....trying to increase the stamina but failed....
    do all household work own....no any other excercise...

    Hi Alpa pls guide me again...not loosing weight and loosing motivation also...leaving for india june end before that i have to reduce some weight....pls help me friends....

    Dear Manasi,
    at night reduce your chappattis , you are having a lot of carbohydrates, include protiens as well in your diet and also fruits, if you are bored of doing the epillictal trainer i suggest go out ofr walks with your baby in a stroller at least do brisk walking, 20 mins. IF you do the eppillictal trainer for 20 mins then do ab's and some stretching exercies.
    Post your diet on the weight loss buddy i iwll guide on a day to day basis

    i am a maharashtrian , good to know we stay nearby i stay in ghusais.
    as for my diet
    morning 6.30 1cup green tea
    8.30 am bf poha or cereals ordigestive biscuits

    11.30 am 1 fruit
    1.30 lunch 2 chapatis + subzi+ dal+ salad
    3.30 fruit or sprouts bhel
    5.30 1 cup tea+2 digestive bisuits
    8.00 pm dinner same as lunch

    i have found that instead of 2 chapatis if we substitute 1 chapati with weetabix biscuit in meals it makes a difference.
    as for exercise i am not doing anything since i had arecent back injury.

    Dear Firsrk,

    I would suggest u to do meditation in the morning immediately after waking up, it would be helpful to control ur mind and do exercise regularly.
