Sorry for the delayed response.I have heard about Dr.Kaplan in FCI.He is good.He seems to be the best doctors in the location.:thumbsup

Thanks a lot for ur reply. I have also heard about Dr.Kaplan. First I want to take an appointment with a Gynecologist in FCI. Then if required I can visit a RE that will be referred by a Gynecologist. And I’m looking for houses in Hoffman estates.
So can u Pls let me know the name of the Gynecologist (Hoffman estates)in FCI, So that it will be very helpful for me.

I know a Gynaecologist named Dr.Erwin Szella in a clinic near schaumburg,whom Iam currently consulting.I think you can take direct appt with Dr.Kaplan.he seems to be a Gynaec as well as a fertility specialist.

Sorry to get your message late. I haven't been here in a while.

I did not need any referral to get to any doctors the Fertility Centers of Illinois because of our medical plan at that time...we made an appointment with Dr. Jacobs directly. Then he referred us to an ObGyn when I got pregnant. All fertility specialists have to also be gynocologists is what I am told....

Here is a list of gynoes in the area though...

Jenniffer Kim...is in the same building as Jacobs.
Julie Dohr....heard about her from a friend
Anita Iyer...heard good things about her from another friend

Actually I had an ectopic pregnancy in March and my right tube has been removed. Even though it came to me as a shock, I’m slowly recovering. I was in NJ and the care was not that much So we thought of moving to Chicago.
Since I had one tube left open I’m hopin I can get pregnant again. So I thought of trying naturally for 6 months and then I can move on to something.
Hi DNM,
I had one doubt that if I go with Julie Dohr and in case in future if I want to go with iui or something whether they will be able to refer me to FCI or I have to go only with a RE whom they suggest. Pls help me.
I have heard lot about Dr.Jacob So I want to know whether he is a Gynec as well as fertility specialist.

hi everyone,

Am ttc frm 5 yrs.all my reports are normal hsg test is normal-tubes not blocked.underwnt iui with tabs for 3 times and iui with injectibles 3 times.all were failure.now doc is advicing me for a lapro and histeroscopic surgery and aftr that they are gonna decide to go for one more iui or directly move to ivf.

Can anyone lemme know if am on the right path of treatment.....thnx

Iam extremely sorry to hear about your tubal issues.Dont worry.wait for the miracle to happen.In my opinion,you can consult any good Gynaec for 6 months and try naturally and they might suggest a different Gynaec/RE based on the situtaion.Lets hope for the best to happen with in this 6 months timeframe itself.My prayers and positive vibes are with you.

Please feel free to ask anything.Iam glad to provide any info that I know.

 

Just an update from my end friends...
today was my test for beta.. haven't gotten results yet but yesterday 10dpET i started bleeding, bright red period like with cramping...
doctor said beta is the final verdict and said try not to worry. i read lot on line, do not think it is implantation bleeding or anything... i did have 2 ET so i'm hoping that one is still with me....
praying praying praying....
please pray for me.....
anyone with similar experience and get positive results???
Last time with IVF same bleeding happened 2 days before testing...can't remember if it was heavier or not...

You and DNM mentioned Gynecs are very reputed people. I will get an appt with one of them once I come there.
