Wow, MSTrue. We seem to have hit on the same thread for nomination. I too want to nominate Sally's http://www.indusladies.com/forums/me-and-my-spouse/133716-lets-acknowledge-lack-negatives-man.html#post1779140 as my second nomination for this month.

Not only you nominated my post. But, created a platform to thank Satchi, too.

But for my dear Buddy(Kamla)'s mention in her FB to my post I would have missed Satchi's nomination. I visited the April nominations thread to thank her, only to find it closed.

I came here with the plans of (hesitation combined) of asking our dearest mods to permit me to write a belated note of thanks.

All is well now, Sowmya. Thanks a zillion for your nomination and I shall try to write more.

Here is my third nomination for the month of May. It is Srama's snippet on http://www.indusladies.com/forums/snippets-of-life-non-fiction/133886-salute-the-ordinary.html#post1781629. I really think this is something all of us need to be reminded of from time to time, because we get so carried away by the glory of bigger things, that we forget to think of the ordinary, little things which lead to the bigger glories.

As they say: Little drops of water, little grains of sand,
Make the mighty ocean and this lovely land.

This nursery rhyme is taught to us in schools only to be forgotten as soon as we go to Std. I.
