    Hi,
Can you suggest me a shop for buying beads, chumki's etc for my cloths? My mom will do good embriodery works and she'll stitch the cloths for our family too(Believe, She is a good tailor :) ). We don't know where to buy beads, chumki's etc. Can you help me if you know the places in and around, nungambakkam, t.nagar?

    Thanks,
    Uma

    Hi Uma

You can get lots and lots of varieties in RK Fancy shop in Parrys.
Even in Tana Street, Purasawalkam. Very reasonable.
I always buy chumkis, beads and other embroidery items from either of these shops.

    Bye

    Hi Uma,
Welcome to IL.You can try Ranganathan street in T.Nagar. Mylapore Wahab Stores, or R.S.Stores in Thiruvanmiyur. Try Kasi Chetty street in Sowcarpet. Rates are nominal.

Hello Uma ma'am, a hearty welcome to IL!

As suggested earlier, Raja Thread house is really a good place for almost all varieties you need. I used to buy materials for my glass paintings only from there.

    Has very good collections.

    Regards
