Dishwasher dilemas.

hope u too have become an experienced user of a dish-washer and you can advise me on the same. especially since you seem to be using it in delhi.
1.how practical is its usage - keeping the frequent and long-power cuts in delhi?
2.which brand has the best maintenance fascilities in delhi-ncr?
3.how much is the monthly expenses in terms of its dish-washing soap etc...
4. which brand did u buy? which one do you recommend?

 

aaah thank god I saw this thread!! just yesterday i observed some of my glassware and the non stick pans are showing all white powder on their top and corners..its just some white coat...and i am scared to use them now...

I am using cascade DW powder...I am planning to switch to the liquid hoping that I wotn see that white powdery coat on the pots and pans and glasses...

any suggestions??? why is teh white powdery coat coming on glasses and the non stick pots n pans? I never faced this problem before...but recently i am seeing it..is it the problem with the DW?

Also how do you switch off the jet dry..I tried the switch both times..but its not working...how do I know I have switched off the heated dry option?

Siemens dishwasher is good
