AMLA Hair oil

    Hi all

    i like to share u all the nellikai (indian gooseberry) thailam preparation which telecasted on podhighai by Rajam Murali last sunday.

    Ingredients:
    Gooseberry(Nellikai) - 1 cup (cut and deseed it)
    Curry Leaves(Karuveppilai / curry patta) - 1/2 cup
    Gingely oil - 200 ml

    Preparation:
    1. Take a iron wok / kadai - pour 200 ml of gingely oil in it
    2. Finely ground the amla and Curry leaves.
    3. once the gingely oil become smoky, add the finely grounded amla and curry leaves paste.
    4. lets it be in oil for some time till oil changes it in to green color
    5. There should not be any more bubbles forming after this time.
    6. Cool the oil .
    7. Filter it and pour it into a glass bottle.

    Usage:
    If you want to use it for daily then, equal quantity of coconut oil in it.
    if you want to use this oil for hair wash then no need to add coconut oil init.

    Benefits of Amla oil:
    1. Stops Premature Greying of hair
    2. Gives good shine to hair
    3. Body coolant

    my hair is dry and freezy.Also have some white hair.i am looking for the best hair oil.i hope this oil will solve my problem.i will try and give you feedback.

    Thanks a lot for the tip. Just one doubt. Is it required to dry the nellikkai in sun before grinding?
