    Hi
I am done with shoe rack organizing and throwing away my old shoes/sandals.
I neatly organized them in the shoe closet.. and removed the shoe stand which used to be near the entrance door and fascinated my son. I cleaned that area and put a nice kolam there. Morning my son got up and saw that kolam and playing there and soon all that kolam chalk was on his shirt and pants :rotfl.

next task is to clean the fridge and re-organize clothes closet this weekend.

Thank you friends for motivating me and keep it going .........you all rock !!!! :clap

    Rgds

    Hi Sahmaara

Kolam means Rangoli. We call it "Muggu" in telugu. we put dots and connect them in nice designs with a chalk.
I have a little square area in tiles near the entrance door and then all is carpet. so I like to put Muggu at that place so as soon as we enter into the house it feels so "Indian" :) and pleasing to the eyes.

Heres a link to kolam in wikipedia to get you an idea. there are pics in it.

This is a nice idea. I simply tie them together to form a single knot
