I too cleared the "dump yard" in my baby's drawer. I organized all clothes because we were losing a sock daily!!
I also cleaned and organized kitchen shelves, and mopped the kitchen floor using Pine-sol (phenol).
Now, I need to do week 4 (under the bed cleaning). Our bed is too heavy to lift and is carpeted, so lets see how am going to accomplish this task.

Good going Sahmaara. Be careful of your back when moving the bed. Do it when your DH is at home.
6 months back I tried doing it on my own and got a severe catch for weeks to follow

overstocking: :bonk :bonk, I sometimes feel I am obsessive compulsive stocker.
But again due to my not able to drive, for small things I have to wait for my DH to come home or weekends. So I am guilty of overstocking and not using things correctly

Good going Parvathi. You can sort some things which are not in daily use, get a carton box, put them in: label the box with what is in it and keep it away. That way you can have more places in cupboards when your ILs arrive

Yesterday I cleaned my microwave. its sparkling clean now :)
I thought of next task to be fridge cleanup but thats overtaken by Shoe Rack organizing since my 1year old is always fascinated by that shoe rack and runs towards it.:bonk
so I am planning to organize all of them in the shoe closet and remove the stand so it hides from him. :thumbsup. my hubby has too many shoes and I dont know which one takes back seat so not able to organize this closet since long. now I have to decide and do something about it ;-)

Yeah giving away shoes is a hard task for me too.

But think of the space it saves and if we have not used it in a long time, better to give them off

    Hi ptamil,

So i finished with wardrobe today. All stacked neatly.

Now only place remaining is kitchen. Oh my god kitchen means trolleys, fridge, oven. Lots of work .

Since weekend here starting i may do only fridge and oven cleaning. May push trolleys to next week.

    Love,
    Parvathi.
