    Hi,

    Lets have this thread to share on "Whats your LO is snacking on today". Lets update it daily so that we get to know more Snacks Box Ideas.

    Well, for today i am have sent a Choco pie, and a Handful of Cashew nuts for my DS to his Play school.

    My son goes to full daycare.

    Hs lunch box:

    1. Two biscuits
    2. A small box containing Pomegranate
    3. Veg gravy for lunch - in his daycare, they cook other vegetables or pasta, use the gravy I send from home over it.

    my son is 3.3 yrs and he is in pre-primary. today i sent him two strawberry cookies, 3 little heart biscuits, 4 pieces of apple and 2 spoon ghee rice

    2nd Feb - my son's lunch box

    1. Breakfast cereal - coco pops
    2. Two Parle G biscuits
    3. Apple pieces
    4. Dal rice

    Dal Rice- I cooked this way. directly in one vessel - put washed rice, moong dal, some tomatoes, salt, turmeric powder, little rasam powder.
    Keep for two whistles.

    Add ghee.

    4. Dal rice

    Can anyone suggest more varieties for the lunch time

    I prepared whole grain macaroni...

    method:
    boil macaroni with little salt. keep aside.
    take a pan. add olive oil, jeera,bell pepper,spinach,carrots. saute for a few mins. Add macaroni and salt (if needed) with some pepper and chilli flakes,if needed. cook for a min. switch off gas, and add grated cheese and mix.
    This is my desi version of mac n cheese, and my daughter simply loved it!!!

    Sorry for missing this thread for the past few weeks...
    My DS dint go to school today as he is down with fever.
    Last week, he had

    a. Boiled and Salted Chick Peas
    b. Boiled and Salted Peanuts
    c. Roasted CAshew,Almond and Peanuts
    d. Popcorn

    Let me make sure i update this thread everyday
