Hi friends!
I'm in Medina of Saudi.I just came 13 days back.I liked everything here but I don't have any Indian friends nearby.If anybody is here,please reply here.I should be always inside the house till my husband comes in the evening which is new to me.I have left my daughter in India as there is no Indian school nearby.

And also I couldn't get Indian rice , I don't like Basmati rice to cook at all times.For Idli,Dosa also I couldn't get any separate rice & when I prepare rice batter with the rice available here, Dosa is not coming properly but the taste is good.We are used to parboiled rice only.If anybody could tell some idea for this,I'll be thankful to U.

Hi Geetha,

So you have newly arrived in Saudi ? Hope you smoothly settle down.

Regarding the idli rice, I am certain it must be available in some of the Indian stores. But some times back there was some shortage of it, and so I always bring a big bag of it, whenever I return from vacation .
