    I'm Sheila and we are new to Toronto from USA.We(me,hubby and kid) came here in Nov,2010 and staying in Markham/Thornhill area.We want to make friends and looking forward to meet some new people.

    I am a new immigrant to toronto,canada. I am looking for a job in toronto. I have 4 yrs of exprnc as a s/w engineer...i do not possess a WP as i came here last week onli. so hw abt te job market here? nd wen can i apply for my WP? will doing a course help me in getting WP and a job? pls suggest...thnx in advnc

    Hi Jayasathya,

    You said you are a new immigrant, which is I hope you have got a permanent residence status and a PR card, if so, you don't need a WR. In addition doing course would lead you to the job markets expectations. From where knowing the market, the people, you could start building your resume & register with Workopolis.com & go from there.
