    for clean tiles........

    Hello Sree,

The tiles can be washed with a solution of 4 tbsp. of liquid ammonia with 4 1/2 litres of water. Extra dirty spots may be rubbed with liquid ammonia straight from the bottle.

Disfiguring marks on glazed bathroom tiles canbe removed by rubbing over with cut lemon and leaving for 15 min. follow it up with a polish with a soft cloth.

Glazed tiles can also be washed with soapy water. Any stains or spots can be rubbed well with cut lemons and thoroughly wiped with a soft cloth later.

Ordinary White vinegar is another cleaning agent that can be used.

    Hope this helps.

    Meena

    To remove stains on tiles...

I presume you are looking at one time cleaning of your bathroom tiles and tubs to remove those hard stains.

If that is the case, try bicarbonate of soda. Make a thick paste of this soda with water and apply on the stain. Leave for about 10-15mins and then wash off. This should remove the stains.

For regular cleaning, try cleaning products that has some % of bleach included. They clean the stains well.

No one wants to get into a dirty bath tub. How can a grimy, dirty bath tub get you clean? The best thing to do is to scrub your tub and shower stall to make it clean and inviting.
Tap water contains a chemical called alkaline, which leaves spots on shower walls and glass doors. As any housekeeper knows, this isn’t good for your bathroom. Put some car wax on a sponge and use it to scrub where the grime tend to build up. Glass is a porous material and the wax is used to seal these pores so the alkaline doesn’t get into them.

    Hi all

I spray some Clorox Bleach all over the Tub and leave it for 20 mins and then scrub it with brush followed by a rinse with Hot water. And the result is a totally sparkling Bath tub.

    Cheers

The bleach works fabulously and no need to scrub. Put a mixture of 1/4 bleach and 3/4 water in a spray bottle and spray all surfaces with the solution. Make sure and leave the windows open as the fumes are strong. Close the bathroom door too and leave. After 1/2 hour, just rinse the surfaces with water and you will have a clean and disinfected bathroom.

    Hi Sree,

You can try using the Lysol or Tilex brand cleaners. These come separately for Mold & Midew and the other one as Bathroom cleaners for removing soap scums.

Clorox is another brand of bathroom cleaners - again for mold, mildew and soapscums..some come with bleach and others without bleach.

Be careful when you use the products with bleach..because if the tiles are white..then no problem..if it is another color..say offwhite, blue etc..we dont want those to turn white. Just spray only on the areas that you want to become white , in the case you use bleach or products with bleach.

To be on the safer side, wear a good pair of gloves and switch on the exhaust fans, opens the window and doors if any before starting to clean or touch any of these cleaners.

    Cheers
    Krithika
