Easy Preparation Method of Dal Makhani – Tempting Taste. Ingredients Black Urad Dal – 1 bowl Onion -2 Tomato-4 (big size) Ginger -1 small piece Garlic – Optional Red chilli powder – 1 tsp (as per your taste) Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp Jeera Powder – 2tsp Garam Masala Powder -1tsp Pure Ghee – ½ cup (4-5 spoon) Milk Cream or Full cream Milk – 1 cup Salt – as per taste Fresh Coriander Leaves—little. Make a paste of Onion, Tomato, Ginger, Garlic. In a pressure cooker, add Black Urad Dal (no need to soak overnite at all), masala paste, ½ cup Pure Ghee, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, Jeera Powder, Salt and add enough water. For One bowl of Urad Dal add at least 6-8 times of water of the same bowl quantity. Now keep the pressure on a stove and wait for 3 whistles and after that keep it in sim for at least 40 mins. It would give a nice aroma while cooking in sim. Ensure sufficient water is there inside the cooker. After 40 mins, remove from flame and let it cool down and finally add Milk Cream or Full cream milk and add little jeera powder and decorate with fresh coriander leaves. Serve Hot with Roti or Rice. This would definitely give you the taste, as you get in a restaurant of North Indian Style. Try this too, I am eagerly awaiting to know your feedback.
