My dear Chithra, Today for our lunch tried Bengali Kitcadi, it was so awesome. It was quite filling with perfect proportion of dhal, rice and vegetables. I made Gujarathi kadi to go with the kitchadi, it went well with kitchadi. Here after, this recipe is going to be a regular in my home just like your other one pot wonders. Thank you very much for yet another wonderful recipe. Love and regards Priya
You are right, Deepa! Once you get used to aroma of such home-made powders , you will think twice about buying. But one has to 'hit upon' a perfect recipe!! Yes, I store in ziplock covers & freeze - safest bet! Thanks & love, C
Dear mami, Yesterday morning, I made Peshawari Chole with the intention of having it for dinner. But it was so that I ended up mixing it with rice and having it for lunch :crazy. I am big fan of chickpea. The remaining we finished it off as a snack in the evening . This is going to be repeated . Thanx
Dear CL, Thanks a ton. Do try my recipes - i will look forward to your FBs!! Peanuts they give at the restaurants is: boiled raw peanuts + raw chopped onions + salt +chopped green chillies + lime juice + chopped coriander leaves. Now, sev is topped a la chaat style!! Love, C
