    Mahesh Babu too opts out of 3 Idiots remake?

    While rumours spread that Ilayathalapathy Vijay has opted out of Shankar's Tamil remake of Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots due to differences in opinion between the actor and director regarding Vijay’s clothes and looks in the film, it is said that Prince Mahesh Babu too is thinking of walking out of the Telugu remake of the project.
    One of the reasons is said to be Shankar's choice of actors for the Telugu remake. Mahesh Babu reportedly told Shankar that the Telugu version should not have many Tamil faces. However, director Shankar apparently stuck to his own choice! The other reason is that Mahesh Babu has no dates for 3 Rascals. It is said that director Shankar sought bulk dates, which is almost impossible for the hero as he has given his dates to Dookudu

    VIjay pulled out the project of 3 Idiots!!!

    This is the recent news about the movie. The shooting was about to start on 6th of Dec. But it was cancelled bcoz both the Tamil and Telugu Leads Vijay and Mahesh babu (telugu) have walked out due to various reasons.

    Anyways its a happy News for Anti-Vijay fans.:)

    In the midst of rumours circulating that Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Prince Mahesh Babu are thinking of walking out of Shankar's Tamil and Telugu remakes of 3 Idiots due to various differences in opinion and date problems, it is now heard that Shankar has begun the search for apt replacements for the lead roles in Tamil and Telugu, and is likely to rope in either Suriya or Ajith Kumar for these roles.
    Both Suriya and Ajith are always keen to work with Shankar, but it has to be seen if they will accept the 3 Idiots remakes!

    Meanwhile, actor Vijay denied the reports that he has walked out of the 3 Idiots Tamil remake. He said he has not walked out, but is facing some date problems. He added that he had a talk with Shankar about this and the issues would be sorted out soon.

    Same thing I heard Puni, Vijay has some date problem as he doing some other movie and also Shankar need bulk dates it seems.

    Latest news about 3idiots is the official statement released by Gemini film circuit..the producer of the film that Vijay is out of the movie..due to his call sheet problems and date clashes..the producer also stated they parted in friendly terms without any hard feelings..

    3 Idiots is one of a kind movie.. Why do they have to
    remake( whatever!!) this movie in other languages..

    Some movies deserve to be enjoyed in the original version and I feel such movies should not be disturbed.... Screen play at its best !.

    It is entirely a different scenario if it is was made in several languages at the same time as original version..

    How much justice can the remake do to the orignal version?. It only spoils the charm this movie carries and comparison will alone remain.

    After all the fame and name Shankar received ( he is to be appreciated for making the best use of the budget that was provided for endhiran), why does he have to go for a remake?. It is unfair to 3 Idiots, there are so many little nuances in the movie which can be enjoyed only in the original version because of the language..

    This is not to say Shankar or all the particpants in the remake are incapable or the remake will bomb at the box office, but it will certainly not beat the original.

    I give the same benefit of doubt to Tamil movies. Ghajini by Surya was best. Although Aamir tried, it did not create a stir just as the original and there are similar movies to quote.

    These kind of movies do not hit the silver screen that very often and it is in the best interest of movie books to leave it alone, sit back and enjoy..

    Please.. I am not here for arguments.. just sharing what I felt.
