    Really nice. What god expects is true devotion. it is not what you offer to god / goddess but the mind. If the mind is full of devotion he will definitely accept whatever we offer. The narration of yours is really nice.

    LOL Aruna. This is something I am not likely to forget anytime soon. Who would think to go to Bella Donna to get clothes for Goddess Lakshmi but you? Now that you have set the trend, the rest of the world has to hurry and go shopping at Gucci and Rodeo Drive before next Navarathri.     We all need a change. Devi Ma is no different. I am sure She also would like to break out of the boundaries set by Patriarchial society.

    When women want to try out a new hairstyle or a new outfit who do they turn to for support? Other women naturally.

    So Devi Ma looked to you for support & you did not let Her down.

    After all Bhagvad Gita stresses that offering with devotion is more dear to Divinity rather than "Show offs."
