    Dear Vijubala,
Don't you ever think, I have not committed blunders ! Plenty !!

    Please go to
    Sweet Seedai (Maida)
    Uppu Seedai (Rice)
    Uppu Seedai (Maida)

The last two come out perfect; infact maida seedai, I assure will not burst.
    But
wash & clean the til deeds free from sand particles, which may 'provoke" bursting.
Do not roll tightly - this is very important. When dropped in oil, the expansion under pressure causes bursting.
Try with 1 cup maida one of these days - you will get "parattu mazai" !
    Love,
    Chithra

    Dear Raji,
Please do not think & worry, you are troubling me - not at all !
Urad dhal can be left in the fridge safely for 2, 3 months. I have given dangar & butter murukku with it. There is no other way, I use it.
Don't feel compelled to use it.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear CHitra,
I moved in to a new apartment and it took a while to get the new connection. Hence I couldn't check Indus Ladies for long.
I got the net connection 3 days back. Today for Navaratri Naivedyam I plan to make Manjal-Pongal Saadham as per your recipe. I saw that you had mentioned Thalakam as a side-dish. I'm not able to find Thalakam recipe. Can you help me out?

Thank you for all your selfless efforts in helping us celebrate such festivals.

    Luv
    Hema
